Kurtosys Platform

  • Enhanced Filtering Options for Snowflake Integration
    • New filtering operators have been added to the Snowflake integration, including "greater than," "less than,". These enhancements allow users to perform more specific and detailed analyses of transaction data, improving data filtering and usability within the KAPP system.

Investor Reporting

  •  HTML Node Caching in InDesign Studio
    • Addressed the caching issue in the HTML Element Node within InDesign Studio. Dropdowns now update dynamically to display newly added paragraph and character styles without requiring users to close and reopen the plugin. This improvement streamlines workflow efficiency and reduces interruptions during template configuration.
  • Enhanced Workflow Listing View for Document Production Center
    • A new listing view has been implemented in the Document Product Center, providing detailed information on current workflow runs. Workflow Name, Run Start Date, item counts, error flags, and automation status, with real-time updates on document generation and error alerts can not be viewed by users with relevant permissions.
      • Workflow Name: Displays the name of the workflow, as defined during the initial setup in the workflow editor.
      • Run Start Date: Shows the start date and time when the workflow began.
      • Total Items: Provides a count of the total number of items included in the workflow.
      • Total Generated: Displays the number of items that have been successfully generated. This number will update as the documents are processed.
      • Total Errors: Shows the total number of errors flagged during the run, including any failures in document generation.
      • Automated: If the workflow was marked as ‘Automated’ during setup, a green tick will indicate this status.
      • Error Alert: If any of the exception occurred during an automated workflow.

Bug Fixes


Investor reporting

  • Resolved Document Generation Failure
    • An issue causing document generation failures in staging environments has been resolved. Fixed row heights are now correctly processed, preventing crashes during debug and ensuring smooth document generation.
  • Resolved Error in Workflow Preview for Missing Segmentation Properties
    • Addressed an issue where workflows with segmentation lists missing required properties caused errors during preview. The Workflow Preview API now handles such cases gracefully, ensuring smooth functionality and improved error messaging.
  • Watermarking and Email Attachment Issue Resolution
    • An issue was identified where workflows were not completing when watermarking was applied, and non-PDF attachments were included in email distributions. This caused email sending to become stuck, preventing successful processing and receipt of emails. The issue has been resolved by ensuring that watermarking only applies to PDF attachments, allowing non-PDF file types (e.g., GIF, JPEG, PNG, SVG) to be processed without impacting email distribution.
  • Watermarking Documents Timeouts Resolution
    • An issue was identified where documents were not downloading due to time outs. Following the report of the original problem, we increased server capacity to create more processing power. The change we have worked on is a more efficient version of the watermarking code to reduce overall processing time. We believe this change will allow us to process existing and larger documents in a timely manner.
