  • User Account Lock Issue on Incorrect Password Entry
    • We resolved an issue where user accounts were incorrectly locked after a single failed password attempt due to duplicated login attempt records. The solution involved implementing a new /activateuser API endpoint and updating the existing /updateuser endpoint to ensure failed login attempts are reset when accounts are unlocked by admins. Comprehensive testing confirmed the effectiveness of these changes, which also included improved user notifications for locked accounts. This fix enhances both the security and user experience by ensuring account status management is more reliable and transparent.
