Client trust and security are an increasingly complex dichotomy with technology buyers demanding more information than ever as cybersecurity becomes more closely aligned with business success and failure.

Kurtosys, along with many other organisations, are investing in increased visibility by developing a public profile for security documentation and communications. The Kurtosys Trust Centre, houses all pertinent security information for our clients to access as they complete their due diligence as part of the buyer or regulatory security review process.

What is our Trust Centre?

Our Trust Centre is a client-facing home for our company’s security posture, balancing the need for transparency and maintaining control of sensitive information. This is an essential step for us in managing the ever increasing amount of confidential data, such as our SOC2 report, and avoid 3rd party copies and email distributions.

The core objective of our Trust Centre is to improve the outdated buyer security review process, or third party risk assessment, historically laborious and time consuming prerequisite to signing or renewing a contract. Our Trust Centre aims to reduce the friction inherent in this process by aggregating all security posture information into one place, so buyers and clients can conduct their security reviews in a self-serve way. It achieves this whilst allowing us to provide customisable permissions as well as increased visibility and oversight over our confidential documentation and artefacts.

These capabilities have the effect of eliminating extensive communications and reducing the need to resort to a security questionnaire to demonstrate the company’s security posture. Through the Trust Centre, we aim for our clients to experience a far less cumbersome security review process, as workflows become streamlined and, ultimately, automated. We may not totally eliminate questionnaires but at least they will be shorter and more focused.
